Restaurant and Guest House "Ronžės uostas"
Viewing the restaurant building, which resembles a barge with huge windows, you will be tempted to pay a visit inside. Interior made of wood creates a cosy atmosphere; in winter and during cool summer evenings a flaming fireplace will warm you up.
The restaurant interior is also unique with the semblance that there are no walls in there. These are huge windows, looking through which a magnificent panorama to Ronžė coast, pine forest opens; here you will see a bridge leading to the seaside, too.
In summer, when Palanga is full of relaxing holidaymakers, “Ronžės uostas” is the most suitable place if you look for piece for your body and soul; in winter, when a sever wind is howling outside, you will find cosy warmth at “Ronžės uostas“.
In summer an outside terrace with a hundred of places is open. A restless murmur of the sea and a fresh smell of pines create a romantic atmosphere. In the evenings visitors are invited to listen to live music. Especially jazz and blues lovers are welcome.
Restaurant “Ronžės uostas” is an unofficial seat of “Palangos fotoklubas 750” (“Palanga photo club 750”). Here different exhibitions are held, meetings of club members are organized.
A wide assortment of dishes
Restaurant “Ronžės uostas” offers a wide assortment of different dishes – starting with light refreshments, stews, and finishing with rich grilled roasts.
If you are looking for something special and at the same time for something very familiar, you should try refreshing fresh vegetable salad. An absolutely gourmand dish – “Skumbrės straganina” (“Mackerel straganina”), which is prepared from a thermally unprocessed, seasoned fish, served with hot potatoes.
If you are willing to start your day with a tasty breakfast, we suggest a special menu. It includes different omelettes with cheese, ham, scrambled eggs with smoked ribs.
Every Sunday sauerkraut soup is traditionally prepared at “Ronžės uostas”, which is served with hot potatoes boiled in their jackets.
You won’t stay hungry
The restaurant serves a wide assortment of meat dishes and grilled roasts, and especially of fish. This includes salmon, flatfish, pikeperch, squid, turbot, and in summer, we even fry smelt.
The café “Ronžės uostas” serves a wide assortment of different pizzas, which are prepared according to the traditional receipts of Italian pizza. Once Italians who visited us said that our pizzas are even tastier than theirs!
We also have a separate desert menu with pictures. It includes the classical “Napoleonas” (“Napoleon”), “Šokoladinė fantazija” (“Chocolate fantasy”), “Jogurtinis pyragaitis” (“Yoghurt cake”) with cowberry jam, waffle baskets with curd and whipped cream, ice-creams, milkshakes, the cooks’ pride – poppy seed cake, and nowhere tasted – hot chocolate with chilli peppers.
In summer, hosts of “Ronžės uostas” offer an attraction: to spitroast shashlyk or any other roasts they may choose that are prepared for them in the restaurant, and grill them on the lawn of the café territory on a specially prepared grill.
Kids do not rush their parents to go home
„Visitors of “Ronžės uostas” do not need to worry about the occupation of their fidget kids, as smart hosts of the restaurant Daiva and Audrius Bučai have already taken restaurant of that. There is a playing room facilitated in a cosy area, where they can watch cartoons, draw or play with lego. There is also a playing ground facilitated in the yard, where you can find the swings and a sand box.
